People keep asking us about Startershop
Dear everyone,
We seem to be getting a lot of emails from people interested in our experience of using a Startershop.
For those of you who don't know what a Startershop is, you are looking at one! It is the online shop that we put our products in. It is the thing you put all your stuff in that also takes money for you and does all the sales administration behind the scenes.
Why anyone would trust our opinion is beyond us (and those who know us for that matter). However, since you have asked, this is our view of Startershop.
Startershop, in our humble opinion, rocks.
First and foremost it is dead cheap and dead easy to use. Second and probably even more foremost is it makes it easy for people to buy from us. There is no risk of our customers finding it confusing or difficult. Third and most foremostly of all, it rocks.
In a rare move of confessional honesty we now will show our hand... We know the guys at Startershop - we were their first customers and we helped them a lot with feedback in the early days.
Having said that, it still really rocks.
They seem to focus on it being simple and cheap. It is like they are embarrassed about how good the thing is. I think they could charge more for it - but I'm not complaining. The more you get into it the better it is.
It took a bit of time for us to work out how to kick a web business into life. But if you kick it hard enough sooner or later it yelps into life. That is nothing to do with Startershop - it would be the same with any web business. So the Startershop itself still rocks.
One thing we really like is that even if you are not massively into technology you can still do all this eCommerce stuff. It helps that the guys at Startershop are really helpful and get genuinely concerned if they think you have a problem with anything.
We really recommend it for lots of reasons, but mainly because it rocks.
Good luck to anyone starting aventure with a Startershop, It really is easy, plus we have had loads of fun and made good money.
Yours sincerely,
Zingy Car-parts and The Spinsters From Marston Green
